Temel Eğitim ve Ortaöğretim Okul Yöneticilerinin İş Sağlığı Ve Güvenliği Farkındalık Düzeylerinin Değerlendirilmesi: Kartepe Örneği

Abstract

Bu çalışmada Kocaeli İli Kartepe İlçesi’ndeki Temel Eğitim ve Ortaöğretim Okul müdür ve müdür yardımcılarının İş Sağlığı ve Güvenliği alanındaki farkındalık düzeyleri ele alınmış ve değerlendirilmiştir. Diğer ülkelerde olduğu gibi Türkiye’de de İş Sağlığı ve Güvenliğinin önemi her geçen gün artmaktadır. Ülkemizde 6 Şubat 2023 tarihinde meydana gelen depremlerden de görüldüğü üzere İş Sağlığı ve Güvenliğinin önemi bir kez daha görülmüştür. Okullarda yüzlerce öğrenci ve personelin bir arada olduğu düşünüldüğünde İş Sağlığı ve Güvenliğinin önemi tartışılma götürmez bir gerçektir. Okuldaki öğrenci ve öğretmen sayıları dikkate alındığında yüzlerce hatta binlerce kişinin sorumluluğu yöneticilerdedir. Yöneticilerin İs Sağlığı ve Güvenliği farkındalık düzeylerinin artması okullardaki gerek öğretmen, personel ve öğrencinin bu konuda daha etkin, duyarlı ve dikkatli olmasını sağlayacaktır. Okullar daha güvenli olup iş kazaları azalacaktır. Toplamda hedeflenen 100 okul müdür ve müdür yardımcısına 4 bölümden oluşan bir anket uygulanmıştır. İlk bölümde okul türü, yaş, cinsiyet ve medeni durumları hakkında sorular sorulmuştur. Katılımcıların çoğunluğunun erkek ve 41 ve üstü yaş ve evli olduğu belirlenmiştir. Yöneticilere 2. ve 4. Bölümde Dereceli Puanlama Ölçekli sorular sorulmuştur ve iyi düzeyde cevap verdikleri görülmüştür. 3. bölümde Evet- Hayır soruları sorulmuş ve çoğunluğun olumlu cevap verdiği saptanmıştır.

In this study, the awareness level of Occupational Health and Safety of Basic Education and Secondary School principals and assistant principals in Kocaeli city Kartepe district was discussed and evaluated. As in other countries, the importance of Occupational Health and Safety in Turkey is increasing day by day. The importance of Occupational Health and Safety has been seen once again, after the earthquakes that took place on February 6, 2023 in our country. Considering that hundreds of students and staff are together in schools, the importance of Occupational Health and Safety is an indisputable fact. Considering the number of students and teachers in the school, the responsibility of hundreds or even thousands of people lies with the administrators. Increasing the awareness of the managers on Occupational Health and Safety will enable both teachers, staff and students in schools to be more effective, sensitive and careful in this regard. Schools will be safer and work accidents will be reduced. A questionnaire consisting of 4 parts was applied to a total of 100 targeted school principals and vice principals. In the first part, questions were asked about school type, age, gender and marital status. It was determined that the majority of the participants were aged 41 and over and male and married. In the 2nd and 4th chapters, the administrators were asked questions with a rubric, and it was seen that they gave good answers. In the third part, yes-no questions were asked and it was determined that the majority gave positive answers.
