Değerler eğitimi ile ilgili gazete haberlerinin değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Değerler eğitimi, manevi danışmanlık ve rehberliğin en önemli kullanım alanlarından biridir. Bu eğitimlerin kullanım alanları olarak ülkemizde özellikle okulöncesi dönemlerden başlayıp sistemli olarak lise dönemiyle birlikte süregelmektedir. Değerlerin eğitimini vermek için MEB’in 1936 yılı itibariyle ders müfredatlarına değerleri işlemesiyle başlayan bu süreç 2005 yılında Sosyal Bilgiler Dersi ile bir dersin içeriğinde yer almaya başlamıştır. 2018 yılında özel ve ayrı bir şekilde oluşturulmuş olan eğitim müfredatında MEB “Temel Eğitimde Kök Değerler” sloganıyla değerler eğitimini ön plana çıkarmıştır. Bu müfredatın içerisinde “on kök değer” başlığı altında değerleri toplamış ve eğitimi bu şekilde yönlendirmiştir. Değerler eğitimini yaymanın toplumsal olarak bir gerçekliğe oturmanın yolu onu eğitim sistemi içerisinde farklı faklı yollar ile etkin kılmakla gerçekleşir. Verilen bu eğitimleri okul dışına taşırıp sosyal hayatta insanların da istifadesine sunmak da yazılı ve sözlü basın ile gerçekleşir. Yazılı basının en etkin yolları gazete ve dergilerdir. Gazetelerin özellikle günlük basılması ve insanları haberdar etmek/bilgilendirmek gayesinde olması göz önünde bulundurulunca bu yol değerler eğitimini ilgilendiren haberleri içerme açısından en önemli yoldur. “Gazeteler bu haberler ile neden ilgilensin?” sorusuna gelecek olursak; eğitim ve öğretimi ilgilendiren değerler eğitimi konusunda Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı, Gençlik ve Spor Bakanlığı ve Diyanet İşleri Başkanlığı arasında yapılan protokoller ile ülkede bulunun okulöncesinden üniversiteye kadar tüm öğrencileri etkilemesi açısından önemi yadsınamaz bir gerçektir. Bu sebepledir ki değerler eğitiminin toplumca bilinmesini sağlamak önem arz etmektedir. Öte yandan bu araştırmanın amacı gazete haberlerine yansıyan değerler eğitimi ile ilgili geçmişten günümüze ne kadar haber varsa bununla ilgili öz bir değerlendirme yapmaktır. Ayrıca, özellikle günümüzde güncel olarak yapılmış olan haberlerin, bu eğitimlere olumlu veya olumsuz yönde olan etkilerini tespit etmektir.

In our country, the areas of use of these trainings start from the pre-school period and continue systematically through the high school period. This process, which started with the Ministry of Education's inclusion of values in the course curriculum as of 1936 in order to educate values, started to be included in the content of a course with the Social Studies Course in 2005. In the education curriculum that was created specifically and separately in 2018, the Ministry of Education highlighted values education with the slogan "Root Values in Basic Education". In this curriculum, he collected the values under the title of "ten root values" and directed the education in this way. The way to spread values education and become a social reality is to make it effective in different ways within the education system. Taking this training outside the school and making it available to people in social life is possible through written and oral media. The most effective ways of written media are newspapers and magazines. Considering that newspapers are printed daily and aim to inform people, this method is the most important way to include news related to values education. “Why should newspapers be interested in this news?” Coming to the question; It is an undeniable fact that the protocols made between the Ministry of National Education, the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Presidency of Religious Affairs regarding values education regarding education and training affect all students in the country, from pre-school to university. For this reason, it is important to ensure that values education is known by the society. On the other hand, the purpose of this research is to make a self-evaluation of all the news about values education reflected in newspaper news from past to present. In addition, it is to determine the positive or negative effects of current news on these trainings.
