Examing the Concrete Properties of Some Private And Public Buildings in Bilecik Province

dc.description.abstractIn our country, the majority of the building stock is manufactured with reinforced concrete system. There is a similar situation in Bilecik. The use of ready-mixed concrete, unconscious and devoid of control negatively affects the strength of the concrete is made. Bilecik with this research was built before the year 2000, located in the old buildings and new buildings built after 2000 was aimed to evaluate the strength of the concrete. For this purpose, carrier systems reinforced concrete frame building with ten different public and privately-owned private tests done on the existing building core strength of the concrete is determined. In this research, 70% of the buildings are between ages 20 and 50 years. In addition, through this work was prepared by mixing by hand, used concrete ready-mix concrete used in buildings with concrete strength of the buildings were compared. In the study, 60% of core samples taken in the buildings of the compression strength was determined as 20 MPa. Furthermore carbonation test performed on core samples, the corrosion resistance of concrete changes a property of the building and the carbonation depth in the development of the reinforcement effect was also studied. In the study, 40% of core samples taken from the premises of the carbonation depth is greater than 40 mm in 30% of carbonation was determined as ever. According to the test results obtained; produced on site by hand concreted buildings of concrete strength, ready to be more irregular compared to a concreted structure was determined. Old building that was built before the year 2000 the rate of water absorption of 50% of the lowest and the highest difference was determined.
