Tekstil sektöründe üretim metotlarının geliştirilmesinin verimliliğe katkısı: Bir işletme analizi

Abstract

Küresel rekabet şartlarının işletmeleri üst düzeyde etkilediği günümüzde, koşulları lehine çevirmek isteyen işletmeler, karmaşık yapılarını rekabette avantajlı konumlara ulaştırmak isterler. İşletmeler bu avantajı, en başta kendi içyapısını yöneterek ve güçlendirerek elde ederler. Bu gücü ise performans yönetimi yaklaşımıyla yürütürler. Performans yönetimi, işletmelerin, stratejik yönetim kapsamında ya da amaç, hedef, misyon ve vizyon ekseninde bugünkü durumlarıyla ilgili bilgilerin toplanması, kıyaslanması ve geleceğe ilişkin sürekli gelişimini sağlayacak etkinliklerin yönetim sürecidir. Performans yönetiminin en önemli boyutlarından biri verimliliktir. Verimlilik, basit anlamda çıktı/girdi oranıdır. Verimlilik, eldeki kaynakları optimum kullanarak en iyi çıktı karmasını elde etme ya da çıktıyı arttırma istemli performans yönetim boyutudur. Verimlilik, çıktı/girdi oranını arttırmaya yönelik girdilerde ya da çıktılardaki değişim sonucudur. Verimlilik arttırma tekniklerinden en önemlilerinden biride metot geliştirme tekniğidir. Metot geliştirme, bir işin yapılışına yönelik ekonomik yöntemler ortaya koyarak daha kısa zamanda daha az masrafla yapılmasını sağlamak amacıyla faaliyetlerin incelenmesi ve geliştirilmesi sürecidir. Bu çalışmanın ilk bölümünde; performans kavramı, performans yönetimi ve performans yönetimini etkileyen stratejik yönetim süreci sunulmuştur. Performans yönetiminin en önemli boyutlarından olan verimlilik kavramı ayrı bir başlık altında incelenmiştir. İkinci bölümde, metot geliştirme tekniği ve süreci anlatılmıştır. Metot geliştirmenin verimliliğe katkısı ise çalışmanın son bölümünde tekstil sektöründe yapılan bir araştırma ile analiz edilmiştir.In today’s world, where global competition conditions affect businesses at a high level, businesses that want to turn their conditions in favor want to bring their complex structures to advantegeous positions in competition. Businesses gain this advantage primarily by managing and strengthening their own internal structure. They execute this power whit a performance management approach. Performance management is the management process of activities that will ensure the continuous development of the companies in the context of strategic management or the purpose, goal, mission and vision, to collect and compare information about their current situation. One of the most important dimensions of performance management is efficiency. Efficiency is simply the output/input ratio. Efficiency is the demanding performance management dimension to obtain the best output mix or increase the output by using the available resources optimally. Efficiency is the result of a change in inputs or outputs to increase the output/input ratio. One of the most important productivity enhancement techniques is method development technique. Method development is the process of examining and developing activities in order to provide economic methods for doing a job and to make in done in less time with less cost. In the fırst part of this study, the concept of performance, strategic management process that affects performance management and performance management is presented. The concept of efficiency, which is one of the most important dimensions of performance management, is examined under a separate heading. In the second part, method development technique and process are explained. The contribution of method development to productivity was analyzed in the last part of the study with a research conducted in the textile sector.
