Türk siyasal hayatında Hür Demokrat Parti

Abstract

12 Eylül 1980 Askeri Darbesi, Türkiye Cumhuriyeti’nin siyasi geleceğinin şekillenmesine ve yeni oluşumların ortaya çıkmasına zemin hazırlamıştır. 12 Eylül’ü gerçekleştiren Milli Güvenlik Konseyi üyeleri, 1961 Anayasası’nı ülke çapında yaşanan siyasi, sosyal ve ekonomik sorunların temeli olarak görmüş, parlamenter sistemin istikrarsızlığını bu anayasaya bağlamıştır. Bu nedenle yeni bir anayasa hazırlanarak halkoyuna sunulmuş ve 9 Kasım 1982 tarihinde yürürlüğe girmiştir. Sivil demokrasiye dönüş çabalarının başlamasıyla 6 Kasım 1983 Genel Seçimleri yapılmış ve ANAP tek başına iktidar olmuştur. Türkiye’nin önemli sivil toplum kuruluşları arasında yer alan TOBB’un Başkanı Mehmet Yazar, ANAP Hükümeti’nin uyguladığı ekonomik politikaları eleştirmiş ve alternatif ekonomik politikalar üretmiştir. TOBB Başkanı Mehmet Yazar, bu dönemde çevresi ve halk tarafından desteklenmiştir. Politikaya atılmaya ve fikirlerini siyaset sahnesinden ifade etmeye karar veren Mehmet Yazar, 1985 yılında TOBB Başkanlığı’ndan istifa etmiş ve DYP Genel Başkan adaylığını açıklayarak politikaya atılmıştır. DYP’de genel başkanlık yarışını kazanamayan Mehmet Yazar, 1986 yılında Hür Demokrat Parti’yi kurmuştur. 28 Eylül 1986 Ara Seçimlerinde başarı elde edemeyen HDP, kısa süre sonra feshedilerek ANAP’a iltihak etmiştir. HDP’nin feshi ile bir süre aktif politikadan uzak duran Mehmet Yazar, 1987 Genel Seçimleri ile ANAP Kayseri Milletvekili olarak TBMM’ye girmiş ve 1991 yılına kadar görevde kalmıştır.

TOBB President Mehmet Yazar, has been supported by his surroundings and the public at this time. Mehmet Yazar, who decided to go into politics and express his ideas from the political scene, resigned from the TOBB Presidency in 1985 and was put into politics by announcing his nomination for DYP General President. Mehmet Yazar, who did not win the presidential race in DYP, founded the Hur Democratic Party in 1986. HDP, who failed to succeed in the September 28 1986. Intermediate elections has recently been terminated and has become infected with the ANAP. Mehmet Yazar, who, has been away from an active policy for a while with the termination of HDP, entered the Grand National Assembly as ANAP Kayseri MP with the 1987 General Elections and remained in office until 1991.
