Modern Dönem Tefsir Yönelimleri

Abstract

Bu çalışma, modern dönemde Kur'ân tefsirinde ortaya çıkan yönelimlerin tarihsel kökenlerini, metodolojik gelişimlerini ve güncel yansımalarını incelemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Bunun yanında yöntemlerin klasik ve modern dönemdeki uygulamalarını ele alarak, metodolojik yeniliklerin tefsir bilimine katkılarını değerlendirmektedir. Araştırma, yönelimlerin klasik dönemden modern döneme nasıl evrildiğini ve İslam düşüncesine nasıl katkılar sunduğunu ele almaktadır. Modern dönemde bu alanda yazılan kaynaklar arasında özellikle Fadl Hasan Abbas’ın et-Tefsîr Esâsiyyâtuhû ve İtticâhâtuh isimli eserinden faydalanılmıştır. Çalışmanın birinci odağı, Beyânî tefsir yöntemi olup, bu yaklaşımın Kur'ân’ın dil ve belâgî üstünlüğüne odaklandığı belirtilmiştir. Bu yöntem, modern dönemde Muhammed Abduh ve Reşid Rıza gibi alimler tarafından yeniden yorumlanmış, Kur'ân’ın estetik yapısını anlamada önemli bir araç haline gelmiştir. Fıkhî yönelim ise klasik dönemde mezhepsel yorumlarla sınırlıyken, modern dönemde evrensel yaklaşımlar benimsemiştir. Müfessirlerin modern toplumsal ihtiyaçlara yanıt vermeyi hedeflediği bu yöntem, İslam hukukunun dinamizmini ortaya koymuştur. Akâidî tefsir, İslam’ın temel inanç esaslarını açıklamaya odaklanmıştır. Bu yöntemde modern müfessirler, önceki dönemlerin karmaşık kelamî tartışmalarını sadeleştirmiş ve İslam’ın akıl ile kalp dengesi üzerine kurulu bir din olduğunu vurgulamıştır. İlmi tefsir, Kur'ân’ın bilimsel gerçeklerle uyumunu inceleyen bir yöntemdir. Modern dönemde Muhammed Abduh ve Reşid Rıza’nın katkılarıyla gelişmiştir. Çalışma, bu yöntemin Kur'ân ayetlerinin bilimsel doğrular ışığında yorumlanmasındaki potansiyel ve sınırlılıklarını tartışmaktadır. Mevzûî tefsir ise belirli konulara odaklanarak Kur'ân ayetlerini bir bütünlük içinde ele alır. Bu yöntemin modern dönemde çağdaş meselelerin çözümünde etkili bir araç olarak kullanıldığı vurgulanmıştır. Son olarak, münharif tefsirler, Kur'ân’ın anlamını kasıtlı olarak çarpıtan yaklaşımlar olarak ele alınmıştır. Çalışma, bu tür sapkın yorumlara karşı doğru tefsir yöntemlerinin teşvik edilmesi ve İslam tefsir mirasının korunması gerektiğini ortaya koymaktadır. Bu araştırma, tefsir ilminin klasik mirasını modern dönemin ihtiyaçlarıyla buluşturmayı amaçlamaktadır. Bu yönelimler, Kur'ân’ın çok boyutlu bir şekilde anlaşılmasına katkı sağlamaktadır. Bu bağlamda, çalışma, modern tefsir ilminin zenginleşmesine dair kapsamlı bir çerçeve sunmaktadır

This study aims to examine the historical origins, methodological developments, and contemporary reflections of the trends emerging in modern Qur'anic exegesis. Additionally, it evaluates the applications of these methods in classical and modern periods, assessing the contributions of methodological innovations to the science of exegesis. The research explores how these trends evolved from the classical period to the modern era and their contributions to Islamic thought. Among the sources written in this field during the modern period, particular emphasis has been placed on Fadl Hasan Abbas’s work Al-Tafsir Asasiyyatuhu wa Ittijahatuhu. The primary focus of this study is the Bayani method of exegesis, emphasizing the Qur'an's linguistic and rhetorical superiority. This approach was reinterpreted in the modern period by scholars such as Muhammad Abduh and Rashid Rida, becoming a significant tool for understanding the aesthetic structure of the Qur'an. The Fiqhi approach, while limited to sectarian interpretations in the classical period, adopted universal approaches in the modern era. This method reflects the dynamism of Islamic jurisprudence, with exegetes aiming to respond to modern societal needs. Aqa’idi exegesis focuses on explaining the fundamental tenets of Islamic faith. Modern exegetes simplified the complex theological debates of earlier periods, emphasizing that Islam is a religion founded on a balance between reason and the heart. Scientific exegesis is a method that examines the Qur'an’s compatibility with scientific realities. It has been developed in the modern period through the contributions of Muhammad Abduh and Rashid Rida. The study discusses the potential and limitations of this method in interpreting Qur'anic verses in the light of scientific truths. Thematic exegesis approaches Qur'anic verses holistically by focusing on specific topics. In the modern period, this method has been highlighted as an effective tool for addressing contemporary issues. Lastly, deviant exegeses are discussed as approaches that deliberately distort the meaning of the Qur'an. The study emphasizes the need to encourage proper exegetical methods and preserve the legacy of Islamic exegesis against such misinterpretations. This research aims to bring together the classical heritage of Qur'anic exegesis with the needs of the modern period. These trends contribute to a multidimensional understanding of the Qur'an. In this context, the study provides a comprehensive framework for the enrichment of modern exegetical studies.
