İnşaat sahalarında iş sağlığı ve güvenliği uygulamaları

Abstract

İş kazası denilince ülkemizde ilk akla gelen sektörlerden biri de inşaat sektörüdür. Bu alanda alınan tedbirler son zamanlarda iş kazalarını nispeten azaltmış olsa da insan faktörüne dayalı kazaların oranında pek fazla değişiklik olmamıştır. Yapılan çalışmalar iş kazalarının yaklaşık %90’ ının çalışanların güvensiz hareket ve tedbirsiz davranışlarından kaynaklandığını göstermiştir. Yirminci yüzyılın sonlarına doğru iş kazalarının ana sebebinin insan davranışı olduğu gerçeği anlaşılmış ve güvenlik kültürü kavramının ortaya çıkmasını sağlamıştır. Günümüzde ise bu kavram İş Sağlığı ve Güvenliği (İSG) olarak değişmiş ve daha kapsamlı bir duruma dönüşmüştür. Her sektörde olduğu gibi inşaat sektöründe de İş Sağlığı ve Güvenliği kavramını kültür haline getirmek, şüphesiz yaşanan iş kazalarını çok büyük ölçüde azaltacaktır. İnşaat imalatı, yerleşik sanayi imalatına göre dinamik yapısıyla ve değişken işgücüyle iş kazalarına daha açıktır. Sektörün doğasında değişken durum ve koşulların olması, uygulamada rutin olmayan işleri doğurmaktadır, dolayısıyla İş Sağlığı ve Güvenliğine önem verilmesi gerektiğini göstermektedir. Bu çalışmada ise temel amaç inşaat sahalarında İş Sağlığı ve Güvenliği uygulamalarını araştırmaktır.When it comes to work accidents, one of the first sectors that comes to mind in our country is the construction industry. Although the measures taken in this field have relatively reduced occupational accidents recently, there has not been much change in the rate of accidents based on human factors. Studies have shown that approximately 90% of occupational accidents are caused by unsafe and imprudent behavior of employees. Towards the end of the twentieth century, it was understood that the main cause of occupational accidents was human behavior, and this led to the emergence of the concept of safety culture. Today, this concept has changed to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and turned into a more comprehensive situation. Making the concept of Occupational Health and Safety a culture in the construction industry, as in every sector, will undoubtedly reduce the number of occupational accidents to a great extent. Construction manufacturing is more open to occupational accidents with its dynamic structure and variable workforce compared to established industrial manufacturing. The fact that there are variable situations and conditions in the nature of the sector gives rise to non-routine work in practice, thus showing that Occupational Health and Safety should be given importance. The main purpose of this study is to investigate Occupational Health and Safety practices in construction sites.
