Abbasi Şairi İbnü'r-Rûmî Divanında Ahlakî Tespit ve Tavsiyeler

Abstract

Abbasiler döneminde şiirlerinin nitelik ve niceliği bakımından en çok dikkat çeken şairlerinden biri olan İbnü'r-Rûmî’nin (ö. 283/896) şairliği, bariz bir şekilde hiciv temasıyla ön plana çıkmıştır. Ancak bu, şairin diğer temalarda başarılı olmadığı anlamına gelmemektedir. İbnü'r-Rûmî’nin gazel, methiye ve hikmet temalı şiirlerinde de sanatsal seviyeyi yakalamış pek çok kasidesi bulunur. Şair hakkında Arap dünyasında yapılmış akademik çalışmalara bakıldığında çoğu araştırmanın onu hiciv şiirlerine odaklandığı görülür. Hâlbuki İbnü’r-Rûmî’nin methiye ve hiciv temalı şiirleri içerisinde serpiştirilmiş hikmet içerikli beyitleri de hatırı sayılır bir kemiyettedir. Hatta şairin hikmet temasına tahsis ettiği kasideleri vardır. Bu çalışmada şairin hikmet içerikli kaside ve beyitlerinde sıklıkla ele aldığı ahlakî tespitleri incelenmiştir. Biyografi kaynakları ve şiirlerinden hareketle şair, kendisini kuşatan toplumun çoğunluğu ile sürekli bir çatışma ve çekişme halinde ömür sürmüştür. Bunun bir sonucu olarak ahlak konusunda pek çok deneyimleri olmuş ve şiirlerinde bu ahlakî tespitlerini nazma dökmüştür. Ahlaka dair izlenimlerini paylaştığı bu şiirlerinde İbnü'r-Rûmî, ahlakîyatçı bir bilge olarak karşımıza çıkar. Tespitlerini edebiyatın imkânları ile birleştirip akılda kalıcı ve etkili kılmakta başarılıdır. Çalışmada şairin bu kabilden beyitleri içerik ve edebi dil açısından eleştiriye tabi tutulmuştur.

The poetry of Ibn al-Rūmī, (d. 283/896), one of the most striking poets in terms of quality and quantity of his poems during the Abbasid period, came to the forefront with the theme of satire. However, this does not mean that the poet was not successful in other themes. Ibn al-Rūmī has many qasidas in the themes of ghazal, eulogy, and wisdom that he has achieved the same artistic quality. When examining the academic studies on the poet in the Arab world, it can be observed that most of the research focuses on his satirical poems. However, within Ibn al-Rūmī’s poems of eulogy and satire, there is also a considerable number of verses imbued with wisdom content. In fact, the poet even dedicated some qasidas to the theme of wisdom. In this study, the ethical observations frequently addressed in the poet's qasidas and verses with wisdom content have been examined. Drawing from biographical sources and his poems, the poet led a life of constant conflict and strife with the majority of the society surrounding him. As a result, he gained numerous experiences in matters of ethics and captured these ethical observations in his poetry. In these poems, he shares his impressions about ethics, Ibn al-Rūmī emerges as an ethical sage, skillfully combining his insights with the possibilities of literature to create memorable and impactful verses. Within this work, verses of this nature by the poet have been subjected to critique in terms of content and literary language.
