Religious texts from Zoroastrianism period and Avesta have an important role in the emergence of Antique Iran physic. Besides this, Early Iran physic has reached a maturity level by absorbing medicinal accumulations of Ancient Mesopotamian civilizations. The accumulation, which emerged in the field of medicine in Iran, had a great influence on Greek physic. Iranians had been affected intensely by Greek and Indian physic in the Early Middle Ages. Early Middle Age Iranian physic has an important role to be a basis of Islamic physic after Sasanians. In this period great medical schools were established; an important physician class had arisen. The intellectual accumulations on physic in Iran had led to many foreign physicians to pour into Iran. Besides, the churches and temples in Iran have also an important role on medical practices.
