| dc.description.abstract | Wave power, one of the renewable energy sources, has an increasing popularity among energy sources in our country surrounded by seas. The energy demand of the world is increasing day by day and an important point in the works done to supply this demand is generated energy from oceans and seas having a great potential as a ratio of 3/4 of the world. In this paper, the wave energy potential of Turkey is analyzed and wave energy converters used for power generation are observed. As a result of some comparisons and applications, the potential of the 3 seas of Turkey is considered separately and it is tried to determine the available energy converters according to the sea conditions. | |
