Okul öncesi öğretmenlerinin iş sağlığı ve güvenliğine bakış açısı: Bilecik örneği

Abstract

Okul öncesi öğretmenleri çalıştıkları kurumlarda hemen hemen her gün fiziksel, biyolojik, ergonomik ve psikososyal risklerle karşılaşmaktadır. Bu risklerin okul öncesi öğretmenlerinin mesleki sağlık ve güvenliği üzerinde olumsuz yönde etkisi olmaktadır. Olumsuz etkiyi ortadan kaldırmak için kurumların sağlıklı ve güvenli olmalıdır. Başta kurum yöneticileri olmak üzere öğretmenlerin de çalıştıkları kurumların sağlıklı ve güvenli olması için aktif olarak sorumluluk almaları gerekmektedir. Bu çalışmada Bilecik ilinde çalışan okul öncesi öğretmenlerinin iş sağlığı ve güvenliğine bakış açısının tespit edilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışma nicel araştırma yöntemlerinden tarama modeli ile desenlenmiş olup çalışmanın örneklemini Bilecik ilinde çalışan okul öncesi öğretmenleri oluşturmuştur. Veri toplama aracı olarak Bazoğlu (2019)’nun konuya ilişkin hazırlamış olduğu 29 sorudan oluşan derecelendirme ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen verilerin analizinde de SPSS paket programı kullanılmış ve verilerin betimsel analizi yapılarak bulgular tespit edilmiştir. Okul öncesi öğretmenlerinin iş sağlığı ve güvenliğine yönelik almış oldukları eğitimler doğrultusunda yeterli bilgi sahibi oldukları ve mevzuatı bildikleri tespit edilmiştir. Çalışmada okul öncesi öğretmenlerinin kurum yöneticileri ile iş sağlığı ve güvenliği ile ilgili planlama, uygulama ve denetleme gibi süreçlere aktif katılım sağlamalarının kurumda iş sağlığı ve güvenliği kültürünün oluşmasını olumlu yönde destekleyeceği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

Preschool teachers encounter physical, biological, ergonomic and psychosocial risks almost every day in the institutions where they work. These risks have a negative impact on the occupational health and safety of preschool teachers. To eliminate negative impact, institutions must be healthy and safe. Teachers, especially institutional administrators, need to take active responsibility to ensure that the institutions they work in are healthy and safe. In this study, it was aimed to determine the perspective of pre-school teachers working in Bilecik province on occupational health and safety. The study was designed with the survey model, one of the quantitative research methods, and the sample of the study consisted of preschool teachers working in Bilecik. The rating scale consisting of 29 questions prepared by Bazoğlu (2019) on the subject was used as a data collection tool. SPSS package program was used to analyze the data obtained and the findings were determined by performing a descriptive analysis of the data. It has been determined that preschool teachers have sufficient knowledge and know the legislation in line with the training they have received regarding occupational health and safety. The study concluded that the active participation of preschool teachers in processes such as planning, implementation and supervision regarding occupational health and safety with institutional administrators will positively support the formation of an occupational health and safety culture in the institution.
