Metal sektöründe meslek hastalıkları

Abstract

Metal sektörü ülkemizde ve dünyada önemini hızla artırmış bir sektördür. Esnek oluşu, dayanıklı yapısı, estetik görünümü itibariyle birçok endüstri kolunun tercih ettiği bir malzemedir. Gelişen teknolojiyle birlikte kullanımı yaygınlaşan metaller endüstrinin önemli malzemelerinden bir tanesidir. Sanayi kollarının lokomotifi olan metal sektörü, ekonomik hacmi ve istihdam bakımından Türkiye’nin en önemli sanayi koludur. Yaşanan hızlı değişim ile rekabet artmakta üretim maliyetini düşürebilmek için çalışan sağlığı göz ardı edilmek istenmektedir. Bu durum nedeniyle çalışanların sağlığına ve iş güvenliğine yönelik tehlikeler artmaktadır. Beraberinde meslek hastalıklarını ve iş kazalarını getirmektedir. Gereken hassasiyet gösterilmediğinde birçok çalışan iş göremez hale gelmektedir. Bu da sosyal, ekonomik, psikolojik ve ailevi sorunları beraberinde getirmektedir. Bu acı olayların yaşanmaması adına iş yerleri iş sağlığı ve güvenliğine uygun hale getirilmesi gerekmektedir. Çalışanlara verilecek eğitimler ile iş yerlerinde güvenlik kültürü oluşturulmalıdır. Bu çalışmada metal sektöründe görülen meslek hastalıklarına yer verilmiştir.

The metal sector is a sector that has rapidly increased its importance in our country and in the world. It is a material preferred by many industries due to its flexibility, durable structure and aesthetic appearance. Metals, whose use has become widespread with developing technology, are one of the important materials of the industry. The metal sector, which is the locomotive of industrial branches, is the most important industrial branch of Turkey in terms of economic volume and employment. With the rapid change experienced, competition is increasing and employee health is wanted to be ignored in order to reduce production costs. Due to this situation, dangers to the health and safety of employees are increasing. It brings with it occupational diseases and work accidents. When the necessary sensitivity is not shown, many employees become incapacitated. This brings with it social, economic, psychological and family problems. In order to prevent these painful events from occurring, workplaces must be made suitable for occupational health and safety. A safety culture should be created in workplaces through training given to employees. In this study, occupational diseases seen in the metal industry are included.
