Hemşirelik Öğrencilerinin Araştırma Yapma ve Sonuçlarının Kullanımında Karşılaştığı Engeller

Abstract

Amaç: Bu çalışma hemşirelik öğrencilerinin araştırma yapma ve sonuçlarının kullanımında karşılaştığı engellerin belirlenmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Gereç ve Yöntem: Bu çalışma tanımlayıcı tiptedir. Çalışmanın evrenini Mart-Mayıs 2019 tarihleri arasında bir üniversitenin hemşirelik bölümündeki 348 öğrenci, örneklemini ise 241 öğrenci oluşturmuştur. Çalışma verileri tanıtıcı formu ve Bilimsel Araştırmaya Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği ile toplanmıştır. Bulgular: Öğrencilerin yaş ortalaması 20,97±1,51 olup, %78,0’i kızdır. Herhangi bir bilimsel araştırmaya katılmayan öğrencilerin oranı %90,9’dır. Yalnızca %21,6’sının bilimsel bir yayın okuduğu ve %29,9’unun hemşirelikte süreli yayınları takip ettiği saptanmıştır. Öğrencilerde Araştırmalara Yönelik Olumsuz Tutum alt boyut puanı 18,71 ± 4,98, Araştırmalara Yönelik Olumlu Tutum alt boyut puanı 23,50 ± 5,81 bulunmuştur. Aim: This study was conducted to determine the obstacles experienced by nursing students in research and use of results. Material and Methods: This study was descriptive type. The universe of the study consisted of 348 nursing students studying in the nursing department of a university between March and May 2019, and the sample consisted of 241 nursing students. The data were collected with an introductory information questionnaire and the Attitude Scale Towards Scientific Research. Results: The mean age of students was 20.97 ± 1.51 and 78.0% were women. The percentage of students who didn’t take part in research was 90.9%. Only 21.6% of the students read a scientific publication, and 29.9% followed periodicals in nursing. The “Negative Attitude towards Research" subscale score was found to be 18.71 ± 4.98, and the "Positive Attitude towards Research" subscale scores were found to be 23.50 ± 5.81.
