SWOT Analizi İle Osmaneli İlçesi’nin Kırsal Turizm Potansiyelinin Değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Bu çalışmada amaç, Bilecik İli Osmaneli İlçesi’nin kırsal turizm potansiyelini ortaya koymak, bu yöndeki güçlü ve zayıf yönlerini, tehdit ve fırsatları belirlemektir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda geniş bir literatür taraması yapılmıştır. Ayrıca ilçede yerel yönetimlerle görüşmeler gerçekleştirilmiştir. Literatür taraması ve görüşmeler sonucunda elde edilen bulgular doğrultusunda SWOT analizi yapılmıştır. Ulaşılan bulgulara göre; Osmaneli ilçenin var olan kırsal turizm potansiyeli ele alındığında, yılın dört mevsiminde turizmden faydalanılabilecek olması en güçlü yönünü yansıtırken, kırsal turizm bakımından girişimcilik faaliyetlerinin yetersiz olması ise zayıf yönü olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır. İlçenin Bursa ve Eskişehir illerine yakın olması turist potansiyeli açısından önemli bir fırsat unsurunu oluştururken, ilçe için önem arz eden Sakarya Nehri’nin kirletilmesi ve sularının çekilmesi doğal yaşam açısından bir tehdit olarak görülmektedir. Turizm ile ilgili ilçe için gelecekte alınacak karar ve yapılacak yatırımlarda SWOT analizi sonucunda elde edilen sonuçların göz önüne alınması önerilmektedir.

The purpose of this study is to reveal the rural tourism potential of the Osmaneli District of Bilecik Province and to identify its strengths and weaknesses, threats and opportunities. A broad literature search has been conducted for this purpose. In addition, negotiations were held with the local authorities in the district. SWOT analysis was done in the direction of the findings and the results of the interviews. According to findings; Considering the potential of rural tourism in the Ottoman province, it is the most powerful way to benefit from tourism in the four seasons of the year, while the inadequacy of entrepreneurial activities in terms of rural tourism poses a weakness as a weakness. While being close to Bursa and Eskişehir provinces constitutes an important opportunity for tourist potential, the pollution of Sakarya River which is important for the county and the withdrawal of water are seen as a threat in terms of natural life. It is proposed to consider the future results of the SWOT analysis for the tourism related district and the investments to be made.
