SUSTAINABILITY AND RECYCLING IN CERAMIC TILE SECTOR

Abstract

The destruction of nature, which started with mass production and depleting resources due to human activities, has led to unforeseeable environmental problems. The bottleneck experienced with the paradox as a result of making designs without economic, social and environmental considerations led to focus on the concept of sustainability. It is compulsory for the ceramic coating sector to be sustainable at every step of the production process due to its possible damage to the environment. In this study, the ways and methods of the sustainable production concept in the ceramic coating sector were investigated and an recycling implementation of fired wase was carried out.
