Abdülhamîd Cûde Es-Sehhâr’ın Ve Kâne Mesâ Romanında Kader Vurgusu ve Suudi Toplum Eleştirisi Ahengi

Abstract

Arap romanında olgunlaşma döneminin usta yazarlarından Abdülhamîd Cûde es-Sehhâr (ö. 1974), kaleme aldığı romanlarının kurgusunda, benimsediği dini inancın ilkelerini ana temanın perde arkasına özümsetmekte başarılı bir romancıdır. Telif ettiği romanları başta anavatanı Mısır olmak üzere tüm Arap dünyasında ilgiye mazhar olmuş ve bir kısmı da sinemaya aktarılmıştır. Aynı zamanda Hz. Peygamber (a.s.m.) dönemine dair kaleme aldığı “siyer” konulu kitaplarına gösterilen ilgi ülke sınırlarını da aşmış ve eserleri Türkçe de dâhil diğer dillere tercüme edilmiştir. es-Sehhâr’ın dini irşat ve vaaz misyonu ile sosyal eleştirel yönü kurguya dayalı bazı eserlerinde doğal olarak insicam halindedir. es-Sehhâr’ın bu iki kutuplu yönünün öne çıktığı bir romanı “ve Kâne mesâ”dır. Yazar bu romanında Suudi Arabistan’a bakanlık danışmanı olarak ailesiyle birlikte çalışmaya giden Mısırlı bir akademisyeninin başından geçenleri romantik ve eleştirel bir üslupla anlatmaktadır. Olaylar, kahramanın çocukluğundan itibaren başından geçen “tesadüf”lerin en sonunda onu perde arkasında hâkim bir “kader”in cilvesine doğru sürüklediği düşüncesini uyandıracak şekilde kurgulanmıştır. Giriş kısmında ülkemiz akademisinde pek tanınmayan yazarın hayatı ve romancılığına dair bilgi verilecektir. Sonrasında ise söz konusu romanın içeriğindeki “kader” tezinin estetik sunumu rencide etmeden kurguya sindirilme yöntemi ve Suudi toplumuna yönelik sosyal eleştirisi incelenecektir.

Abdulhamîd Cûde es-Sehhâr (d. 1974) one of the masters of the mature period in the Arab novel, is a successful novelist who with the fiction of his novels, deconstructs the principles of religious belief he embraces behind the main theme. His novels have attracted attention in the Arab world, particularly in his native Egypt, and some have been transferred to the cinema. In this novel, the author tells the story of an Egyptian academician who has been working with his family as a ministry consultant to Saudi Arabia in a romantic and critical manner.
