Ortaokul öğrencilerinin iş sağlığı ve güvenliği eğitimi bilgisinin belirlenmesi ve değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Yetişkinler ve çocuklar hayatın her aşamasında her an tehlikelerle karşı karşıyadır, hayatın birçok alanında bireysel ilişkilerimizde sıkıntı yaşamamak, çalıştığımız öğrenim gördüğümüz ortamlarda huzurlu olabilmek için “ güven duygusu” çok önemlidir. Kendimizi ve çalışma performansımızı en iyi şekilde ifade edebilmek için kendimizi güvende hissetmemiz gerekir. Kendini güvende hissetmeyen kişi işini iyi yapabilmek için çaba da gösteremez. Çocukların iş sağlığı ve güvenliği ile ilgili konularda küçük yaşlarda tanıştırılması gerekir. Erken yaşta öğrenilen bilgiler onların gelecekte sürdürecekleri güvenlik ve sağlık konularında edinecekleri alışkanlıklarının temelini oluşturacaktır. Bu çalışmanın temel amacı güvenlik kültürü algısının bilgisinin ortaokuldan itibaren kazandırılmaya çalışılmasıdır. Ortaokul döneminde karşılaşılan eğitimin etkililiği göstermektir. Bu çalışmada ortaokul(5.sınıf, 6. Sınıf, 7.sınıf, 8.sınıf ) seviyesinde eğitim alan öğrencilerin iş sağlığı ve güvenliği eğitimini almadan önceki ve aldıktan sonra bu konudaki bilgi birikimlerindeki farklılığının belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu çalışma Bilecik’te bir ortaokulda yapılmıştır. Projenin çalışma grubunu bu okula giden 8. Sınıf düzeyindeki öğrenciler oluşturmuştur. Öğrencilerin seçilip grubun oluşturulmasında kolayda örnekleme yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma yöntemi olarak nicel araştırma yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Nicel araştırma yöntemlerinden deneysel araştırma yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Deneysel araştırma yöntemlerinden zayıf deneysel desen olan tek grup ön test - son test deseni kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada verileri toplamak için araç olarak, kavram ve bilgi öğrenimine yönelik bir adet 20 sorudan oluşan çoktan seçmeli başarı testi hem eğitim öncesi hem de eğitim sonrasında aynı form kullanılarak uygulanmıştır. Sonuçlar analiz edilmiştir. Nicel verilerin analizi için SPSS 21.0 istatistik paket programı kullanılmıştır. Analiz sonuçları, eğitimlerin çocukların iş sağlığı ve güvenliği bilgi birikimlerinde anlamlı farklılık oluşturduğunu göstermiştir. Yapılan eğitimlerin çocukların iş sağlığı ve güvenliği kültürünü benimsemeleri tanımaları açısından ne kadar önemli olduğu görülmüştür. Yapılan analiz sonuçlarına göre ön test ve son test sonuçları arasında anlamlı bir farklılık bulunmuştur.

Adults and children are faced with dangers at every stage of life, in many areas of life, it is very important to have a "feeling of trust" in order not to have problems in our individual relationships and to be peaceful in the environments where we work and study. In order to express ourselves and our work performance in the best way, we need to feel safe. A person who does not feel safe cannot make an effort to do his job well. Children should be introduced to issues related to occupational health and safety at a young age. Information learned at an early age will form the basis of their future habits of safety and health. The main purpose of this study is to try to gain the knowledge of the perception of safety culture starting from secondary school. It is to show the effectiveness of the education encountered in the secondary school period. In this study, it is aimed to determine the difference in the knowledge of the students who receive education at secondary school (5th grade, 6th grade, 7th grade, 8th grade) before and after receiving occupational health and safety training. This study was conducted in a secondary school in Bilecik. The working group of the project consisted of 8th grade students who went to this school. Convenience sampling method was used to select the students and form the group. Quantitative research method was used as the research method. Experimental research method, one of the quantitative research methods, was used. One group pre-test-post-test design, which is a weak experimental design, was used in experimental research methods. As a tool to collect data in the research, a multiple-choice achievement test consisting of 20 questions for concept and knowledge learning was applied using the same form both before and after the training. The results have been analyzed. SPSS 21.0 statistical package program was used for the analysis of quantitative data. The results of the analysis showed that the trainings created a significant difference in the knowledge of children's occupational health and safety. It has been seen how important the trainings are for children to adopt the culture of occupational health and safety. According to the results of the analysis, a significant difference was found between the pre-test and post-test results.
