SURİYELİ MÜSLÜMAN GÖÇMENLERİN TÜRKİYE’DEKİ ENTEGRASYON SÜRECİNİN DİN FAKTÖRÜ BAĞLAMINDA DEĞERLENDİRİLMESİ

Abstract

Göçmenlerin entegrasyon süreci, toplumların sosyal, kültürel, politik ve ekonomik yapılarını etkilemektedir. Göçmenlerin göç ettikleri toplumlarda; sosyal, kültürel ve ekonomik açıdan uyum sağlamaları toplumsal düzen için önemli bir durumdur. Bu alanda din önemli bir köprü görev üstlenmektedir. Çünkü din, bireylerin kimliklerinin şekillenmesine ve sosyal aidiyet duygularının gelişmesine katkı sağlamaktadır. Göçmenlerin yerleştikleri toplumlarla aralarındaki din birlikteliği, kendilerini güvende hissetmelerine yardımcı olmaktadır. Bu süreçte ortak dini organizasyonlar toplumsal uyum noktasında aracılık yapmakta ve göçmenlerin yeni yaşam alanlarına daha kolay alışmalarını sağlamaktadır. Günümüzde göç olaylarının etkisiyle toplumlarda kültürel, dini ve etnik çeşitlilik giderek artmaktadır. Bu süreçte göçmen gruplarla yerel toplumların ilişkilerini pekiştirmek ve uyumu sağlamak için dinin birleştirici etkisini anlamak ve araştırmak özel bir önem taşımaktadır. Bu araştırma, göçmenlerle ev sahibi toplum arasında, dinin; entegrasyon sürecinde göçmenlerin yeni toplum içerisinde sosyal bağlar oluşturma, birlik duygusunu güçlendirme, toplumsal hayata katılma noktasındaki etkisini anlamayı amaçlamaktadır. Araştırma, göçmenlerin sosyal entegrasyon sürecinde ev sahibi toplumla olan dini birlikteliğinin topluma adaptasyon sürecindeki kolaylaştırıcı rolünü araştırmaktadır. Çalışmanın amacı, göçmenlerin dini inanç ve pratiklerinin oluşturduğu dini kimliklerinin yeni toplumla inanç birlikteliği çerçevesinde oluşan ortak ibadet alanlarının ve dini içerikli sosyal ağların entegrasyon sürecine katkısını araştırmaktır.

The integration process of immigrants impacts the social, cultural, political, and economic structures of societies. This process requires different methods and strategies to ensure immigrants' integration and participation in the social structure of the countries they settle in. Religion plays a crucial role in this area, as it contributes to the shaping of individuals' identities and the development of their sense of social belonging. The religious unity between immigrants and the societies they settle in helps them feel secure. In this process, shared religious organizations mediate social cohesion and enable immigrants to more easily adapt to their new living spaces. Today, due to the impact of migration, cultural, religious, and ethnic diversity in societies is increasing. Understanding and exploring the unifying role of religion in strengthening and ensuring harmony between immigrant groups and host societies is of particular importance in this process. This research aims to understand the impact of religion on immigrants' integration in the new society, strengthening their sense of unity, and participation in social life. This research investigates the facilitating role of immigrants' religious unity with the host society in the social integration process. The study aims to investigate the contribution of shared worship spaces and religious social networks, formed within the framework of the faith-based unity of immigrants and their religious identities, formed by their religious beliefs and practices, to the integration process. The study aims to comprehensively understand the importance of religious unity in the integration process of immigrants, their relationship with religion, and the contribution of this relationship to social integration. Qualitative methods and qualitative data collection tools, including in-depth interviews with immigrant individuals, interviews, and ethnographic observations, were used. Religious unity strengthens immigrants' sense of belonging to their new society and allows them to become visible in the public sphere. The religious unity of immigrants with the society they live in has a significant facilitating effect on the social integration process. This is because the values, beliefs, and rituals defined by religion create spaces for self-expression in immigrants' living spaces. This supports the integration process in terms of the sustainability of social cohesion.
