MESLEKİ SONUÇ BEKLENTİ DÜZEYİ İLE KARİYER KAYGI DURUMU ARASINDAKİ İLİŞKİNİN İNCELENMESİ: FERİZLİ MYO ÖĞRENCİLERİ ÜZERİNE BİR UYGULAMA

Abstract

Bu çalışma, MYO öğrencilerinin geleceğe yönelik kariyer kaygıları ve mesleki sonuç beklenti düzeylerini belirlemek ve mesleki sonuç beklenti düzeyleri ile kariyer kaygıları arasında ilişki olup olmadığını, varsa bu ilişkinin yönünü belirlemek amacıyla tasarlanmıştır. Bu amaçla, öğrencilerin kariyer kaygıları, mesleki sonuç beklentileri üzerinde etkili midir? sorusu cevaplandırılmaya çalışılacaktır. Bu çalışma Türkiye’de Meslek Yüksekokulu öğrencilerinin kariyer kaygılarına ve mesleki sonuç beklenti düzeylerine ilişkin çalışmaların sınırlı olmasından dolayı bu çalışmanın literatüre katkı sağlayacağı düşünülmektedir Araştırma yöntem itibariyle nicel bir araştırmadır ve araştırmanın veri malzemesini toplamak amacıyla anket tekniğinden yararlanılacaktır. Araştırmaya 2021-2022 eğitim öğretim yılında Sakarya Uygulamalı Bilimler Üniversitesi Ferizli MYO 1. ve 2. sınıflarında öğrenim gören toplam 195 öğrenci katılmıştır. Araştırma kapsamında öğrencilerinin kariyer kaygı düzeyini ölçmek için Kariyer Kaygısı Ölçeği ve Mesleki Sonuç Beklentisi Ölçeği ile araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan Kişisel Bilgi Formu kullanılmıştır. Veriler frekans analizi, Bağımsız Örneklem T-Testi ve Tek Yönlü ANOVA Testi kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir.

This study was designed to determine the future career anxieties and professional result expectation levels of Vocational School students, and to determine whether there is a relationship between their professional result expectation levels and their career anxieties, and the direction of this relationship, if any. For this purpose, do students' career anxieties affect their professional outcome expectations? The question will be tried to be answered. This study is thought to contribute to the literature due to the limited number of studies on career anxieties and professional outcome expectation levels of Vocational School students in Turkey. The research is a quantitative research in terms of method and the survey technique will be used to collect the data material of the research. A total of 195 students studying in the 1st and 2nd grades of Sakarya University of Applied Sciences Ferizli Vocational School in the 2021-2022 academic year participated in the research. Within the scope of the research, Career Anxiety Scale and Professional Outcome Expectation Scale and the Personal Information Form prepared by the researcher were used to measure the career anxiety level of the students. Data were analyzed using frequency analysis, Independent Sample T-Test, and One-Way ANOVA Test.
