| dc.description.abstract | n this paper, the Ranque-Hilsch vortex tube aided vapor compression cooling(RHVTC)system and single vapor compression cooling system were designed and evaluated by using energy, exergy,and economic analysis. The cooling sys-tems were designed for threedifferent evaporator temperature and different compressor discharge pressures which were available for refrigerants. The high-est value of net present value of Ranque-Hilsch vortex tubesystem was calculated as 35836 €. The helical vortex generator of J-type, 1stRanque-Hilsch vortex tubebody, control valve angle of 30°, 2ndcontrol valve opening position, R-143a wereused in this Ranque-Hilsch vortex tubesystem and the operating conditions of this system were T1of 277.15 K, P2of 1700 kPa,and P8of 601.325 kPa. For the same system,the COPwas calculated as 0.0347 and 0.0409 while exergyeffi-ciency was calculated as 0.0097 and 0.0079 for the summer and winter modes, respectively. | en_US |
