Plastik endüstrisinde iş sağlığı ve güvenliği problemleri

Abstract

Plastic is the most widely used material in the sector today. With the development of plastic technology, which has entered most stages of our lives for the purpose of use, it is developing day by day and its usage area is becoming widespread. When evaluated in terms of occupational health and safety, especially chemical risks and machine accidents used in production and electrical accident risks due to the use of this machine are important during plastic production. In this study, the risks arising from working in the Plastic Industry, the evaluation of personal protective equipment and the human resource, which is the most important asset, the precautions that can be taken against the risks that may occur and the equipment that can be used are examined. It is aimed to identify hazards that may cause occupational accidents and occupational diseases in the sector, to propose solutions to eliminate these hazards, and to examine and evaluate an example Fine Kinney risk assessment method that can be used in this sector. As a result of the risk assessment, risks arising from mechanical factors related to occupational health and safety, risks arising from chemical factors, risks arising from unsafe behavior, and risks arising from ergonomic factors were monitored. Solution suggestions have been made for each identified risk. Research has shown that the use of personal equipment and equipment and training of employees on this subject prevents the danger of occupational accidents that may occur as a result of working in the plastic production industry, that the maintenance and control of the personal protective equipment used is important, and that employers taking the necessary legal precautions against risks as a result of informing employers about dangerous situations reduces the risks of accidents of employees. It has been concluded that it reduces occupational accidents, contributes to the prevention of occupational accidents, and that as a result of taking the necessary precautions, the number of injuries and deaths in accidents will be greatly reduced.

Plastik sektörsel anlamda günümüzde en yaygın kullanılan maddedir. Kullanım amacı ile hayatımızın çoğu aşamasına giren plastik teknolojinin gelişmesi ile her geçen gün gelişmekte ve kullanım alanı yaygınlaşmaktadır. İş sağlığı güvenliği açısından değerlendirme yapıldığında, plastik üretimi esnasında özellikle kimyasal riskler, hastalıklar ve üretimde kullanılan makine kaynaklı ve bu makine kullanımına bağlı elektrik kaza riskleri önem arz etmektedir. Bu çalışmada, Plastik Endüstrisinde çalışmadan kaynaklanan riskler ve kişisel koruyucu ekipmanlar ile en önemli varlık olan insan kaynağının değerlendirilmesi, oluşan/oluşabilecek risklere karşı alınabilecek önlemler ve kullanılabilecek ekipmanlar incelenmiştir. Sektörde iş kazalarına ve meslek hastalıklarına neden olabilecek tehlikelerin tespit edilmesi, bu tehlikelerin giderilmesi için çözüm önerileri getirilmesi ve bu sektörde kullanılabilecek örnek bir Fine Kinney risk değerlendirmesi metodunun incelenerek değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Risk değerlendirmesi sonucunda iş sağlığı ve güvenliğine ilişkin mekanik etmenler kaynaklı riskler, kimyasal etmenler kaynaklı riskler, güvensiz davranış kaynaklı riskler, ergonomik etmenler kaynaklı riskler takip edilmiştir. Tespit edilen her bir risk için çözüm önerileri getirilmiştir. Yapılan araştırmalar kişisel ekipman ve gereçlerin kullanılması, çalışanların bu konuda eğitilmesi plastik üretim endüstrisinde çalışma sonucu meydana gelecek iş kaza tehlikelerini önlediğini, kullanılan kişisel koruyucu donanımların bakım ve kontrolünün önemli olduğunu, tehlikeli durumlardan işverenlerin haberdar edilmesinin sonucunda işverenlerin risklere karşı gerekli yasal önlemleri almasının çalışanların kaza risklerini azalttığı, iş kazalarının önlenmesine katkı sağladığı, gerekli önlemlerin alınması sonucunda kazalarda yaralanma ve ölüm olaylarının büyük ölçüde azaltılacağı sonucuna varılmıştır.
