Özet
In this study, electrodeposition was employed to produce zinc sulfide (ZnS) thin films. Sodium sulfite (Na2SO3) was used as an inhibitor in this work and some physical effects of the inhibitor were investigated in detail. Structural analysis of the ZnS thin films were carried out by using an x-ray diffractometer (XRD). According to the XRD, ZnO-free thin films of ZnS films could be obtained via inhibitor. It was discovered that Na2SO3 was a good inhibitor for electrodeposition of ZnS. Besides, the ZnO and ZnS ratio was varied by using Na2SO3 and, thus, the band gaps of the films were varied from 3.18 eV to 3.93 eV. Morphologic properties were investigated by using a scanning electron microscope (SEM). SEM images showed that compact- and pinholefree ZnS films could be produced by using Na2SO3 as inhibitors.
