İç Kuzeybatı Anadolu bölgesi demir çağ seramik gelenekleri

Abstract

İç Kuzeybatı Anadolu, Demir Çağlar boyunca yerleşim görmüştür ve bölge, verdiği bilgiler açısından tüm Anadolu'yu etkilemektedir. Anadolu'nun önemli bir bölümü olan İç Kuzeybatı Anadolu, çağlar boyunca birçok uygarlığa ev sahipliği yapmış ve birçok göçü, savaşı, kıtlığı ve gücü içinde barındırmıştır. Demir Çağ ile birlikte Frigler adını verdiğimiz bir topluluğun izleri ortaya çıkmaya başlamıştır. Bu halk göç yolu ile Anadolu'ya giriş yapmış ve daha sonraki dönemlerde büyük bir güç halini almıştır. Çalışmanın ana konusunun sınırlarını oluşturan bu coğrafyada Friglerin yanı sıra birçok kültür de kendini göstermiştir. Göçler ve kronoloji bu çalışmanın ana ve kritik başlıkları olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Bunun nedeni ise kronoloji bilgisi ve siyasi tarih bilgisi olmadan malzeme üzerinde yorum yapmaya çalışmanın zorluğudur. Dönem içindeki etkileşimin en iyi göstergesi ise seramik malzemedir. Burada çanakçömlek üzerine ayrımlar tek tek gözetilerek farklı gruplandırmalar yapılmış ve olabildiğince sadeleştirilerek kazısı yapılmış yerleşmeler etrafında açıklanmaya çalışılmıştır. Bu çalışma ile birlikte İç Kuzeybatı Anadolu Bölgesi'nin Demir Çağ seramik repertuvarının olabildiğince çözümlenmesi ve Demir Çağların farklı evrelerine ait seramiğe ait hamur, form ve bezeme repertuvarının anlaşılması amaçlanmıştır.

North-western Central Anatolia was settled during the Iron Ages, and the region has a potential of affecting all Anatolia with the data it provides. As an important part of Anatolia, the North-western Central Anatolia has hosted a series of civilisations, and witnessed a bunch of migrations, battles, famines and forces. With the dawn of the Iron Ages, the traces of the Phrygians become apparent. Entering Anatolia with a migration process, the Phrygians became an important political power in the succeeding periods. Within the geographical boundaries of this dissertation, a series of political entities a part from the Phrygians also played important roles. The migrations and chronology form the main and critical focus points of this study. The reason for this is the toughness of making an understanding of the archaeological material without a proper chronological and historical knowledge. The most important indicator of the trans-relations within the period is the pottery. Thus, the study focuses on the classifying the different pottery traditions during the Iron Ages, and tries to illuminate the pottery traditions of the Iron Ages with the help of the excavated key settlements. This study focuses on the examination of the pottery repertory of the North-western Central Anatolia, and try to make an understanding of the clay, shape and decoration features of the different phases of the Iron Ages.
