Özet
Single-phase grid-connected photovoltaic inverters are commonly used to feed power back to the utility. This study aims to investigate an alternative photovoltaic inverter topology approach with a battery at the DC link for grid-connected photovoltaic applications. The output of the PV modules is connected to the DC/DC synchronous boost converter to increase the system voltage and obtain the maximum available power from the PV arrays. A PWM modulated single-phase half-bridge inverter is used to create a sinusoidal output for grid connection after a low-pass LC filter. Principles of operation, performance and design limitations are discussed. The simulation results show the suitability of the proposed solution for a grid-connected photovoltaic system. © 2021 IEEE.
