Eğitim alanında kullanılan yapay zeka uygulamaları üzerine bir literatür incelemesi

Abstract

1956'da Dortmund konferansında John McCarthy tarafından ortaya atılan yapay zekâ kavramı, günümüzde bilgisayar mühendisliği sahasında önemli bir araştırma alanı haline gelmiştir. Zaman içindeki evrimiyle, teknolojinin öncü bir gücü olarak kabul edilen yapay zekâ, öğrenme yeteneği, akıllı tahmin kapasitesi, karmaşık problemleri çözme yetisi, değişken koşullara adapte olma becerisi ve farklı insan dilleri ile deneyimlere uyum sağlama özellikleriyle dikkat çekmektedir. Yapay zekâ, eğitim alanında önemli katkılar sunmaktadır. Bilgi yönetimi, öğrenme ve öğretim süreçlerine doğrudan entegre olmak suretiyle, liselerden üniversitelere kadar geniş bir yelpazede akıllı, uyarlanabilir ve kişiselleştirilmiş öğrenme sistemleri oluşturulmasına imkân tanımıştır. Yapay zekâ, öğrencilerle ilgili kapsamlı veri toplama ve analiz etme yeteneği sayesinde her bireye özelleştirilmiş eğitim imkânları sunmaktadır, bu da eğitim deneyimini daha etkili ve öğrenci odaklı hale getirmektedir. Eğitimde yapay zekânın sunduğu katkıları üç ana başlık altında ele alabiliriz. İlk olarak, yapay zekâ kavramının ne anlama geldiğine dair temel bir anlayış oluşturmak adına "Yapay zekâ aslında nedir?" sorusu sorulmaktadır. İkinci olarak, yapay zekânın eğitime nasıl katkı sağladığına dair bir perspektif sunabilmek adına "Yapay zekâ eğitimi nasıl geliştirir?" sorusu incelenmektedir. Son olarak, eğitimde yapay zekâ uygulamalarını anlamak ve değerlendirmek amacıyla "Eğitimde yapay zekâ uygulamaları nelerdir?" sorusu üzerinde durulmaktadır. Eğitimde yeni teknolojiler ile şekillenmesi sonucunda öğrenciler ve öğretmenler arasında yapay zekânın gerekliliğini ortaya koymaktadır. Yapay zekânın doğru kullanılmasının etkilerinin gelecekteki eğitim sistemlerinin gelişimine yönelik önemli perspektifler sunmaktadır.

The concept of artificial intelligence was first put forward by John McCarthy at the Dortmund conference in 1956, and today it has become an important research area in the field of computer engineering. Artificial intelligence, which is considered the driving force of technology with the change it has achieved over time, attracts attention with its features such as learning, making intelligent predictions, solving complex problems, adapting to changing conditions, and adapting to different human languages and experiences. In this context, artificial intelligence makes significant contributions to the field of education. It has taken education to a different dimension in high schools and universities around the world under the name of smart, adaptable or personalized learning systems by being directly involved in learning and teaching processes, especially in the management of information in education. Artificial intelligence provides customized education for each student by collecting and analyzing big data about students. We can discuss the contributions of artificial intelligence in education under three main headings. First, to establish a basic understanding of what the concept of artificial intelligence means, "What actually is artificial intelligence?" The question is asked. Secondly, in order to provide a perspective on how artificial intelligence contributes to education, "How does artificial intelligence improve education?" The question is being examined. Finally, in order to understand and evaluate artificial intelligence applications in education, "What are the applications of artificial intelligence in education?" The question is focused on. The evolution of education through emerging technologies highlights the necessity of artificial intelligence (AI) between students and teachers. The proper utilization of AI reveals significant perspectives for the development of future education systems.
