Abstract

2 No’lu Hadariye Defterine Göre Osmanlı Balkanları’nda Dubrovnik Diplomasisi ve Sosyo-Ekonomik Faaliyetleri (H. 1124-1158/ M. 1712-1745) başlıklı bu çalışmada, Osmanlı Devleti ile Dubrovnik Cumhuriyeti arasındaki diplomatik, siyasi ve ticari ilişkilerin belirtilen tarihler arasındaki seyri, arşiv belgeleri öncelikli olmak üzere çok yönlü biçimde ele alınmıştır. Konu yalnızca siyasi boyutuyla sınırlı kalmayıp sosyo-ekonomik yönleriyle de değerlendirilmiştir. Üç bölüm olarak tasarlanan tezin “Giriş” bölümünde Dubrovnik ve Dubrovnikliler ile ilgili temel bilgiler verilmiştir. Tezin ilk bölümünde, Dubrovnik’in Osmanlı Devleti ile rabıta kurmasından itibaren merkez ve taşrada meydana gelen ilk temaslar ve ilk diplomatik belgeler, Osmanlıların Balkanları hakimiyet altına alma serencamı içerisinde ikili ilişkilerin değişen niteliği ve ikili ilişkilerin zamanla karakteristik niteliğini kazanması, tabiiyet ve haraçgüzarlık statüsünün tesis edilmesi ve karşılıklı sorumlulukların netlik kazanması, Osmanlı tarihindeki sultanlar ve dönüm noktası olaylar ölçü alınarak dönem dönem işlenmiştir. İkinci bölümde ise tezin ana kaynağını teşkil eden defter hükümleri ve ilgili literatürden yararlanılarak, Dubrovnik Cumhuriyeti’nin Osmanlı Devleti’nden aldığı ahidnâme maddelerinin hukuki zemininde siyasi ve diplomatik ilişkilerin şekillenmesi, iki devlet arasındaki ilişkilerin arasında köprü vazifesi gören diplomatik görevlilerin muameleleri, tarihsel olayların seyri etrafında değerlendirilmiştir. Üçüncü bölüm ise ikili ilişkilerin sosyal ve ekonomik boyutunu konu almıştır.

In this study titled Dubrovnik Diplomacy and Socio-Economic Activities in the Ottoman Balkans According to the Hadariye Book No. 2 (H. 1124-1158/AD 1712-1745), the course of diplomatic, political and commercial relations between the Ottoman Empire and the Republic of Dubrovnik between the specified dates is discussed in a multifaceted manner, with priority given to archive documents. The issue is not only limited to its political dimension, but also evaluated with its socio-economic aspects. In the "Introduction" section of the thesis, which is designed as three parts, basic information about Dubrovnik and Dubrovniks is given. In the first part of the thesis, the first contacts and first diplomatic documents that took place in the center and the provinces after Dubrovnik established relations with the Ottoman Empire, the changing nature of bilateral relations within the Ottomans' attempt to dominate the Balkans and their gaining characteristic character over time, the establishment of nationality and tributary status and the clarification of mutual responsibilities, the sultans and turning point events in Ottoman history are discussed from time to time. In the second chapter, the shaping of political and diplomatic relations on the legal basis of the articles of covenant that the Republic of Dubrovnik received from the Ottoman Empire, the treatment of diplomatic officials who served as a bridge between the relations between the two states, and the course of historical events were evaluated, using the book provisions and related literature, which constitute the main source of the thesis. The third part is about the social and economic dimension of bilateral relations.
