Frenet düzlemleri üzerine

Abstract

Bu tez 5 bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde giriş kısmına yer verilmiştir.İkinci bölümde 3-boyutlu Öklid uzayında ve 3-boyutlu Minkowski uzayında temel tanım ve kavramlara yer verilmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde 3-boyutlu Öklid uzayı de verilen bir uzay eğrisinin Frenet düzlemlerinin, başka bir uzay eğrisinin Frenet düzlemleri olma şartları araştırılmıştır. Dördüncü bölümde 3-boyutlu Minkowski uzayı de verilen uzay eğrisinin herhangi bir spacelike Frenet düzlemlerinin aynı uzayda başka bir uzay eğrisinin herhangi bir spacelike Frenet düzlemleri haline gelip gelmediğini araştırılmıştır. Beşinci bölümde de 3-boyutlu Minkowski uzayı de verilen uzay eğrisinin herhangi bir timelike Frenet düzlemlerinin aynı uzayda başka bir uzay eğrisinin herhangi bir timelike Frenet düzlemleri haline gelip gelmediğini araştırılmıştır.

This thesis consists of five chapters. In the first chapter “Introduction” part has been presented. In the second chapter, some basic definitions and concepts in Euclidean and Minkowski 3-spaces have been presented. In the third chapter, some cases that Frenet planes of a given space curve in Euclidean 3-space are Frenet planes of another space curve have been investigated. In the fourth chapter, the possibility of whether any spacelike Frenet plane of a given space curve in Minkowski 3-space also is any spacelike Frenet plane of another space curve in the same space has been investigated. In the fifth chapter, the possibility of whether any timelike Frenet plane of a given space curve in Minkowski 3-space also is any timelike Frenet plane of another space curve in the same space has been investigated.
