Bazı tıbbi bitkilerin ekstraktlarının antimikrobiyal özelliklerinin antagonistik ve sinergistik olarak araştırılması

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, Achillea millefolium L. (beyaz civan perçemi), Anthemis cretica L. (dağ papatyası), Cichorium intybus L. (yabani hindiba), Euphorbia seguieriana Necker (sütleğen), Hypericum perforatum L. (kantaron) bitkilerinin farklı çözgenler (metanol ve dietil eter) kullanılarak elde edilen ekstraktlarının antimikrobiyal özelliklerinin antagonistik ve sinergistik olarak karşılaştırılması amaçlanmıştır. Bitkilerin özütleri soxhlet ekstraksiyon yöntemiyle elde edilmiştir. Elde edilen özütlerin antimikrobiyal aktivite çalışmalarında Gram negatif bakterilerden; Escherichia coli, Acinetobacter baumannii, Salmonella typhimurium, Gram pozitif bakterilerden; Bacillus cereus, Listeria monocytogenes, Staphylococcus aureus kullanılmıştır. Özütlerin antibakteriyal aktivitesi mikrodilüsyon yöntemi ile belirlenmiştir. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre; hem metanol hem de dietil eter çözgeni kullanılarak elde edilen tüm bitki ekstraktları Gram pozitif bakterilere karşı daha etkili olduğu belirlenmiştir. Bacillus cereus bakterisi üzerine tüm bitki ekstraktları en fazla etkiyi gösterirken, Hypericum perforatum L. metanol ekstraktı Gram pozitif bakterilere en etkili bitki olmuştur. Achillea millefolium L.: Cichorium intybus L., Achillea millefolium L.: Hypericum perforatum L. ve Cichorium intybus L.: Hypericum perforatum L. metanol karışım ekstraktları ile Achillea millefolium L.: Hypericum perforatum L. dietil eter ekstraktı sinerjist etki gösterirken diğer bitki karışım özütleri yarı sinerjist veya etkisiz özellik göstermişlerdir.

This study was aimed to compare the antimicrobial features of the extracts of Achillea millefolium L., Anthemis cretica L. Cichorium intybus L., Euphorbia seguieriana Necker, Hypericum perforatum L. which were generated by using different solutes (methanol, diethyl ether) antagonistically and synergistically. Plant extracts were generated by using the Soxhlet Method. In the antimicrobial activity studies of the extracts, Escherichia coli, Acinetobacter baumannii, Salmonella typhimurium were used as Gram negative bacterias; Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus cereus, Listeria monocytogenes were used as the Gram positive bacterias. The antimicribial activities of the extracts were determined microbroth dilituon method. According to the results of the research; All plant extracts obtained using both methanol and diethyl ether solvent were determined to be more effective against Gram positive bacteria. While the whole plant extract showed the most effect on Bacillus cereus bacteria, Hypericum perforatum L. methanol extract was the most effective plant against Gram positive bacteria. Achillea millefolium L.: Cichorium intybus L., Achillea millefolium L.: Hypericum perforatum L. and Cichorium intybus L.: Hypericum perforatum L. methanol mixture extracts and Achillea millefolium L.: Hypericum perforatum L. diethyl ether extract showed a synergistic effect, while other plant mixture extracts showed semi-synergistic or ineffective properties.
