dc.description.abstractRecycled granules are obtained from the waste materials generated during the production of polypropylene macro synthetic fibers (PF) used in concrete. In this study, PF were obtained again from these granules, and their reuse as fiber reinforcement in concrete is proposed. The main objective of this approach is to evaluate the mechanical and structural performance of concrete containing recycled polypropylene fibers (RPF) and to provide a cost-effective and Environmentally sustainable solution.The experimental program includes the evaluation of fundamental mechanical properties such as tensile strength and elastic modulus. Furthermore, the structural performance of PF and RPF reinforced concrete will be evaluated according to the EN 14651 standard, focusing particularly on load-CMOD (Crack Opening Displacement) behavior, fracture energy (Fr), and bending moment capacity. Additionally, SEM analyses were conducted to provide insight into the fiber distribution and fiber-matrix interactions within the concrete matrix.
