Kentsel turizm çekiciliklerinin belirleyici faktörlerinin analizi: Trabzon şehri örneği

Abstract

Son yıllarda değişen yaşam şartlarının etkisiyle insanların talep ve beklentilerinde değişmeye başlamıştır. Deniz, kum, güneş turizminin yerini alternatif turizm türleri almaya başlamıştır. Bu turizm türlerinden birisi de kent turizmidir. Kentler, içerisinde birçok farklı olanak barındırmaktadır. İnsanlara sunduğu bu olanaklar nedeniyle kentler zamanla turizm merkezleri haline gelmiştir. İnsanlar eğlenmek, alışveriş yapmak, tatil yapmak, spor müsabakalarını izlemek, kongrelere katılmak ve konserlere gitmek gibi amaçlarla kentleri ziyaret edebilmektedir. Bu çalışmada Türkiye'nin önemli şehirlerinden biri olan Trabzon, kent turizmi açısından ele alınmıştır. Bu çalışmanın temel amacı Trabzon şehrinde kentsel turizm çekiciliklerinin belirleyici faktörlerinin analizinin yapılmasıdır. Çalışma kapsamında Trabzon şehrindeki turizm çekicilikleri şematize edilerek en fazla ilgi çeken çekicilik unsurları belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Araştırmanın ilk aşamasında turizm, kent turizmi ve turizm çekicilikleri konusunda literatür taraması yapılmıştır. Ardından alandaki turizm çekicilikleri belirlenerek irdelenmiştir. Daha sonra nicel araştırma yöntemi kapsamında Trabzon'u ziyaret eden 270 kişiye anket uygulanmıştır. Elde edilen veriler SPSS Statistics 21 programı ile analiz edilmiştir. Elde edilen sonuçlara göre, genel olarak çalışmanın sonunda kenti ziyaret eden ziyaretçilerin kentten memnun kaldıkları ve kenti tekrar ziyaret edecekleri anlaşılmaktadır. Fakat kentte eksikliklerin olduğu turizm alanında daha fazla geliştirilebileceği belirlenmiştir.

In recent years, with the effect of changing living conditions, people's demands and expectations have begun to change. Sea, sand and sun tourism has started to be replaced by alternative tourism types. One of these types of tourism is urban tourism. Cities contain many different opportunities. Due to these opportunities offered to people, cities have become tourism centers over time. People can visit cities for purposes such as having fun, shopping, taking a vacation, watching sports competitions, attending congresses and going to concerts. In this study, Trabzon, one of the important cities of Turkey, is discussed in terms of urban tourism. The main purpose of this study is to analyze the determining factors of urban tourism attractions in the city of Trabzon. Within the scope of the study, the tourism attractions in the city of Trabzon has been schematized and the attraction elements that attracted the most attention has been tried to be determined. In the first stage of the research, a literature review was conducted on tourism, urban tourism and tourism attractions. Then, the tourism attractions in the area were determined and examined. Then, a questionnaire has been applied to 270 people who visited Trabzon within the scope of the quantitative research method. The obtained data has been analyzed with the SPSS Statistics 21 program. According to the obtained results, it is understood that the visitors who visited the city at the end of the study were satisfied with the city and would visit the city again. However, it has been determined that the city can be developed more in the field of tourism, where there are deficiencies.
