Savunma harcamalarının ekonomik büyüme üzerindeki etkisi

Abstract

Bu çalışmada Savunma harcamaları ve cari işlemler dengesi ekonomik büyümeyi etkileyen önemli giderler arasında görülmektedir. Kavramlardan cari açık ise, herhangi bir devlette istenmeyen bir durum olarak görülürken, en önemli makroekonomik sorunlar arasında yer alan bir göstergedir. Diğer makroekonomik parametreler olan enflasyon ve Gayri Safi Milli Hasıla (GSMH) ekonomik büyüme oranı ve cari işlemler dengesi ile savunma harcamaları arasında bulunan ilişki üzerine literatürde iktisatçılar tarafından yürütülmüş birçok ampirik çalışma bulunmaktadır. Bu çalışma kapsamında ARDL analizi yapılarak 1980-2020 yılları için Türkiye’deki ve Dünyadaki savunma harcamaları ile ekonomik büyüme, enflasyon oranı, cari işlemler dengesi ve GSMH gibi makroekonomik göstergeler arasındaki ilişki incelenmiştir.

These savings are seen among the important expenses that defense expenditures and car operations expect economic growth. Among the concepts, current account deficit is seen as an undesirable situation in any state, and is an indicator among the most important macroeconomic problems. There are many empirical studies conducted by economists in the literature on the relationship between other macroeconomic clusters and Gross National Product (GNP) economic growth rate and the cost of current transactions and defense expenditures. Within the scope of this study, to make ARDL analysis and to determine the relationship between defense expenditures in Turkey and Germany and macroeconomic indicators such as economic growth, growth rate, current account and GNP for the years 1980-2020.
