Brocard-Ramanujan benzeri çeşitli denklemler üzerine

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, Brocard-Ramanujan tipi Diophantine denklemlerin bir benzeri olan 𝑠 = 5,6,7, … olmak üzere 𝑚𝑠+2 = (𝑚 + 1)! + 𝑚𝑠 denklemi ve 𝑘 ≠ 1 bir pozitif tamsayı olmak üzere 𝑚3 = (𝑚 + 𝑘)! + 𝑚 denkleminin pozitif tamsayı çözümleri incelenmiştir. Buna göre bu denklemlerin hiçbir pozitif tamsayı çözümleri olmadığı ispatlanmıştır. İlk teoremin ispatında Γ fonksiyonunun özellikleri kullanılmış olup ikinci teoremin ispatında basit hesaplamalar yapılmıştır. Elde edilen sonuçlar, faktöriyel terim içeren üstel Diophantine denklemlerde çözüm kümelerinin sonluluğu yönündeki genel literatürle tutarlıdır

In this study, the positive integer solutions of the equations 𝑚𝑠+2 = (𝑚 + 1)! + 𝑚𝑠 and 𝑚3 = (𝑚 + 𝑘)! + 𝑚 where 𝑘 ≠ 1 is a positive integer and 𝑠 = 5,6,7, … , which are analogous to the Brocard-Ramanujan type Diophantine equations, are investigated. Accordingly, it is proven that these equations have no positive integer solutions. The properties of the Γ function are used in the proof of the first theorem, and simple calculations are performed in the proof of the second theorem. The obtained results are consistent with the general literature on the finiteness of solution sets in exponential Diophantine equations containing factorial terms.
